Wow, what a night we had!!  Last night was just pure magic. Even though Valentine’s Day is past that feeling of love and gratitude is still hanging in the air. Our Rainbow Alliance really outdid themselves with “The Not-So Newlywed Game,” and it was such a blast to be a part of!

First, we are grateful for all of you who attended. We had such an amazing turnout, with over 90 fabulous folks joining us from all corners of our CSLPS family and beyond. Seeing such a diverse group of people come together, laughing, sharing stories, and just basking in each other’s company—it was like watching a beautiful rainbow unfold right before our eyes. Each person brought their own special sparkle to the night, making it a truly unforgettable experience.

Let’s give a huge shout-out to the star of the show—our incredible hostess, Miss Patty Cakes. With her infectious energy and warm presence, she set the perfect vibe for the evening, making sure everyone felt welcomed and included. Miss Patty Cakes, we can’t thank you enough for making the night so special!

And let’s not forget about the magic happening behind the scenes. A big round of applause goes to our sound magician, Jeff Kingfisher, for adding those perfect touches of video and song that were the perfect prelude.  Jeff’s talent and expertise made all the difference, and we’re so grateful for him.

To our sponsors, thank you for your generosity and for helping to make our event truly special. Their contributions brought smiles to our faces and warmth to our hearts, and we are incredibly grateful for their support.

Trader Joe’s, thank you for your mouthwatering Spaghetti Dinner in a Bag—absolutely delizioso! The thought of enjoying a delicious pasta meal at home is joy in the making.

And those prizes from the McCallum Theater and Palm Canyon Theater? Talk about experiences to cherish! The McCallum Theater generously provided two tickets to the timeless opera, La Boheme—a night of exquisite music and drama that promises to leave a lasting impression. The Palm Canyon Theater gifted two tickets to any show in their 2024 season, offering our winners the opportunity to indulge in a captivating performance of their choice.

But wait, there’s more! Let’s not forget about Willy Rhine Restaurants and Reflexology by Belle, who added even more joy to the evening with their generous contributions.

Willy Rhine Restaurants went above and beyond by offering dinners at three of his renowned establishments: Eight4Nine Restaurant and Lounge, Willy’s Modern Fare, and 1501 Uptown Gastropub. Each venue promises a unique culinary experience, from modern twists on classic favorites to upscale gastropub delights.

We have to extend a massive thank you to Reflexology by Belle for her incredibly generous gesture. Belle didn’t hesitate for a moment—she simply stepped forward and offered her services, donating a balancing reflexology session for two.

To our amazing contestants—Heidi and Gayle, John and Laurie, and Reverends Ed and G.—thank you for sharing your laughter, love, and stories with us. You truly brought the night to life, and we’re so grateful for your participation.

Last but certainly not least, we want to offer a special expression of gratitude to our visionary leader, Reverend Eunice. Your guidance, wisdom, and unwavering commitment to our community have touched the lives of so many. Without you, none of this would be possible, and we’re endlessly grateful for all that you do.

As we reflect on the magic of last night, let’s carry this spirit of gratitude with us every day. Whether it’s a simple smile, a kind word, or a thoughtful gesture, let’s continue to spread love and gratitude wherever we go.

Thank you, from the depths of our hearts, to everyone who contributed to making last night unforgettable. Together, we’re creating a community filled with love, acceptance, and boundless gratitude.
