Yoga in Palm Springs | Kundalini, Chair Yoga & Meditation
Sometimes the most powerful change in life begins with a simple pause.
A breath.
A moment of stillness.
A decision to step out of the rush of the week and remember who you truly are.
Here in Palm Springs, many people discover that yoga can be more than movement—it can be a doorway into greater awareness, calm, and clarity.
At the Center for Spiritual Living Palm Springs, Wednesday evenings offer that opportunity. We call it the Midweek Reset—a gentle rhythm of movement, reflection, and inspiration designed to help you reconnect with what matters most.
Each Wednesday begins with yoga at 4:00 pm, continues with a quiet reflective moment called The Still Point, and on many weeks concludes with an evening gathering at 6:30 pm—either Visioning with Rev. Eunice on the first Wednesday, or The Uplift with our staff ministers on the third, fourth, and fifth Wednesdays.
You can come for one part of the evening—or stay for the entire experience.
Often people arrive carrying the stress of the week.
And they leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more present.
Some walk the labyrinth in silent reflection. Others simply sit and allow the body and mind to settle.
Movement opens the body.
Stillness quiets the mind.
And in that quiet, something new can begin to emerge.
Yoga for Every Body
Our Wednesday yoga offering rotates to support different needs and comfort levels.
On the first and third Wednesdays, Rev. Mark leads Kundalini Yoga, often called the yoga of awareness. Through breath, movement, mantra, and meditation, this practice helps awaken energy and calm the nervous system.
On the second and fourth Wednesdays, Belle offers a welcoming Chair Yoga class. Using a chair for support, participants experience gentle stretching, breathwork, and mindful movement in a way that feels accessible and supportive.
Yoga here isn’t about perfect poses.
It’s about presence.
It’s about remembering that the same intelligence that moves the universe is also moving within you.
The Still Point
After yoga, many people stay for a few quiet minutes known as The Still Point.
Some walk the labyrinth in silent reflection. Others simply sit and allow the body and mind to settle.
Movement opens the body.
Stillness quiets the mind.
And in that quiet, something new can begin to emerge.
Visioning and The Uplift
On the first Wednesday of the month, the evening continues at 6:30 pm with Visioning, led by Rev. Eunice. Visioning is a guided spiritual practice that invites us to listen deeply for new possibilities and to open ourselves to a greater vision for our lives.
On the third, fourth, and fifth Wednesdays, we gather at 6:30 pm for The Uplift, guided by our Staff Ministers—Rev. G, Rev. Ed, and Rev. Judy.
The Uplift is a short talk, conversation, and meditation exploring practical spiritual ideas drawn from the teachings of Science of Mind. Rather than a lecture, it’s a shared exploration of awareness, insight, and the power of conscious thinking.
Because when awareness shifts, life begins to shift.
A Different Kind of Evening
What makes the Midweek Reset special is the natural flow of the evening.
Movement through yoga.
Stillness through reflection.
Insight through spiritual exploration.
