Join Jeff Kingfisher in exploring the Lord’s Prayer in the language in which Yeshua (Jesus) spoke it. Aramaic is a very different language than the Greek into which it was translated (and the Latin and English into which the Greek was translated.) It is fluid, holistic, nomadic, and close to the Earth, and each word contains many possibilities of meaning and depth. In its original multi-layered language, the prayer calls us each to find our own meanings and insights. Jeff’s group will focus on just that, with participants learning and reciting the prayer, working with it on their own, and sharing their insights and experiences with others. The eight lines of the prayer are covered in six weeks, with each session beginning with a short meditation. The final session will be in the evening, and will include a feast.
