What is affirmative prayer?
Affirmative prayer is a practice rooted in the understanding that we are always connected to a Source greater than ourselves. Unlike traditional prayers of petition, we do not see God as a reluctant power that needs convincing to bless us with good. Instead, our prayers confidently affirm the truth of what is already possible and present—both in the Divine and within you.
We believe that the Source of life is abundant, generous, and ever ready to respond. Affirmative prayer is a way to open our hearts and minds to receive the infinite possibilities available to us.

Sometimes, life’s challenges call for a spiritual support system—a safe space where someone will listen without judgment, offer no advice, and pray with you to uplift your faith and remind you of the good that is always possible.
Our Prayer Practitioners are here to lovingly hold that space for you. They are available to pray with you before and after our Sunday services. If you feel you’d like more dedicated time, they also offer private one-hour sessions. You can contact them directly to schedule an appointment.
