Free Spirit. No Dogma. What If Spirituality Could Be Different?

Nov 7, 2026

You don’t have to believe what we believe. In fact, we don’t ask you to believe anything. We invite you to explore.

For many people, spirituality is complicated.

Maybe you grew up with religion and found comfort in some of its teachings, but struggled with the rules, judgment, or expectations.

Maybe you’ve never considered yourself religious, but you’ve wondered whether there’s something greater connecting us all.

Or maybe you’ve simply asked yourself: Is there a way to explore spirituality without being told what to believe?

At the Center for Spiritual Living Palm Springs, we think there is.

Free to Be Yourself. Free to Explore.

As Palm Springs celebrates Pride, we’re celebrating something deeply connected to who we are: the freedom to be yourself.

Pride reminds us of the importance of authenticity, acceptance, and belonging. It also reminds us that no one should have to hide who they are to be welcomed into a community.

We believe the same principle applies to our spiritual lives.

You don’t have to fit into someone else’s definition of spirituality. You don’t have to accept a set of beliefs before you can participate. And you don’t have to have all the answers.

You can bring your questions, your doubts, your curiosity, and your experiences.

We don’t ask you to believe. We invite you to explore.

What Does “No Dogma” Actually Mean?

Dogma is a set of beliefs that people are expected to accept as unquestionable truths.

At CSL Palm Springs, we approach spirituality differently.

We explore ideas drawn from Science of Mind, a spiritual philosophy that recognizes the relationship between our thoughts, beliefs, and the way we experience life.

Rather than asking you to accept these ideas on faith, we encourage you to consider them, question them, and see what happens when you put them into practice.

Can changing the way you think change the way you experience a difficult situation?

Can developing a greater sense of connection help you navigate uncertainty?

Can spiritual practices help you find more peace, clarity, and purpose?

These aren’t questions you have to answer before walking through our doors.

They’re questions we can explore together.

Spirituality That Makes a Difference in Everyday Life

For us, spirituality isn’t just about what happens during a Sunday service.

It’s about how we meet our lives.

How we respond when things don’t go as planned.

How we treat ourselves and others.

How we move through change, find meaning, and recognize possibilities we might not have seen before.

Our message is simple:

Change Your Thinking. Change Your Life.

Not because life suddenly becomes perfect, but because the way we understand and respond to life can make a meaningful difference.

And you don’t have to explore these ideas alone.

Find Your People. Explore What’s Possible.

Some people first discover CSL Palm Springs through a Sound Bath or meditation. Others come for a class, a conversation, or a Sunday Celebration.

Some are deeply spiritual. Some are skeptical. Some are simply curious.

There’s room for all of them.

We’re a community where people can explore meaningful questions, discover practical tools for living, build friendships, and support one another along the way.

You don’t need to know what you believe to begin.

You just need a little curiosity.

Celebrating Pride. Celebrating Possibility.

This Pride weekend, we’re proud to stand with our LGBTQ+ community and celebrate the freedom to live authentically.

And we’re extending an invitation to anyone who has ever wondered whether spirituality could be more open, more welcoming, and more relevant to everyday life.

Maybe you’ve been looking for a spiritual community.

Maybe you’ve been avoiding one.

Either way, you might be surprised by what you discover.

Free Spirit. No Dogma.

Curious? Good. So are we.
