DESCRIPTION:The Flags of Prayer Project\nDates are Ongoing\nThe Flags of Prayer Project is a heart-centered action within which people or groups of people compose prayers\, then create flags displaying them. The flags are then strung together on single cords and hung outdoors where they can be seen and the wind can catch them\, inspiring unity and hope and spreading their message. The flags are to be hung\, or previously hung and officially consecrated\, on the U.S. holiday of Flag Day\, the next of which falls on Saturday\, June 14th\, 2025. \nThe Flags of Prayer Project is based at the Center for Spiritual Living in Palm Springs\, California. The project is being shared worldwide with spiritual centers\, churches\, hospitals\, shelters\, aid groups… anywhere where prayer is useful (and that’s everywhere.) Individuals are also welcome and encouraged to participate in the project\, making flags for their own homes or sending their prayers in so the folks at CSLPS can make flags for them. \nThere are as many ways to pray as there are people praying. Some follow gurus\, prophets\, saviors\, or saints\, and pray accordingly; some do not. Some pray to or believe in a deity or deities outside of themselves; some find the light within. Some pray to get or achieve something\, for themselves or others; some pray to reveal a deeper truth within and act from it.
